Fall is in the air, which means it’s time to craft up the perfect fall cocktail for the season! Being the Kentuckians that we are, it’s no question that when it comes to a cocktail we are reaching for a Bluegrass bourbon everytime. There are several cocktails to be made, but our personal favorite is a Black Cherry Bourbon Old Fashioned in honor of our Black Cherry Bourbon Candleberry Candle. This Old fashioned is a spiced twist on a classic cocktail that we all know and love. A little tip from us, don’t skimp on the Luxardo cherries! They are the key to the perfect craft cocktail!
INGREDIENTS
- Bullet Bourbon
- Bitterman’s Burlesque Bitters
- Black cherry syrup
- Luxardo cherries
- Orange peel
- Rocks glass
- Large rock ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add 15-20 drops of Bittermans Burlesque Bitters directly into rocks glass.
- Add 1/2 ounce of Black Cherry Syrup using small jigger into glass.
- 1 1/2 ounces of Kentucky Bourbon using large jigger into glass.
- 1 large rock ice into glass. Stir with a stir spoon and garnish with Luxardo cherry on toothpick.
- Express orange peel over cocktail and enjoy!
