Fun Easy 4th of July Food - The Candleberry® Candle Company

It’s that time of year again! Time to celebrate Independence Day and bring out the lawn chairs, fire up the grill and most importantly...be the star of the cookout! Use these cute, easy and delicious recipes to turn some heads.

Red White and Blue Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Red White and Blue 4th of July chocolate covered strawberries party food

What you’ll need:

  • White Sugar
  • Blue Food Coloring
  • Parchment Paper
  • Almond Bark
  • Strawberries

First things first, wash your strawberries!

Next, put some sugar in a sandwich bag and add a drop of blue food coloring then shake! This will turn your sugar from white to blue. (You can also, find sprinkles in the cake section that will work as well, but if you can’t, food coloring & sugar will do the trick!)

Then you will need to melt your almond bark. Put in a microwave safe bowl and heat in intervals of 30 seconds, stir each time until the almond bark is completely melted and creamy.

Next you’ll dip your strawberries into the melted almond bark until half way covered. After this you will need to dip the tip of the strawberry immediately into the blue sugar, place on parchment paper and cool!

Once cooled, it’s time to show these treats off to friends and family! Serve and Enjoy :)
