So what is "Hemp"?
Hemp is a plant grown in the southern hemisphere that is known for its fiber or its “edible seeds”. Hemp seeds have a mild, nutty flavor and can produce a variety of food products such as hemp oil, hemp cheese and milk! They are rich in healthy fats including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which are both known for improving heart health, reducing cholesterol, blood pressure and triglycerides. Crazy, right?! That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this super plant, here are TEN products you can make with hemp!

5. Nutritional Protein
Hemp seeds are cram-packed with protein and lots of other great nutrients and protein powder manufacturers have taken note! Will hemp replace milk for protein? Milk does seem like it would be faster to cycle through than hemp crops, but hey, it’s an option if we run out of cows and goats!
6. Renewable Home Building Materials
Did you know that hemp can be made into “hempcrete”? Hempcrete is an amazing insulator and super durable. What a great new way for people to continue working toward using sustainable materials to build homes.

8. Sports Cars
