I actually received this candle as a gift and was wary of it at first, considering I have never been a fan of anything sandalwood. Eventually I was curious and decided to lite it up. I was so surprised at the wonderful mix of vanilla and sandalwood that I have been burning it ever since. It is not as much of an arresting smell as most sandalwood candles and the vanilla gives it a certain sweetness to the typical "beach" aroma resemblance it tends to have. I highly recommend this candle for anyone who wants a relaxing fragrance to not only permeate their rooms, but their senses as well. Burn on fellow sandalwood lovers!
